Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that offers lightweight durability and great maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's lightweight and also freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes, with an additional carrycot.
A good suspension with air-filled tires will help you to navigate the rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you must wait until the baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba has a lot of features that parents will love. The travel system comes with a lie flat carrycot for babies and an adjustable forward and rear facing seat for the pushchair.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's earned the highest praise from customers. It is incredibly lightweight with the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It's also very simple to put together. In fact I was able complete the entire setup and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!
It has a lovely, wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is easy to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space and I find it nice that the handle bar has a pocket to keep your keys and phone secure.
The only downside is the handlebar is low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered in a soft, comfortable leather-like material, which is easy to clean.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is a great choice for parents who love to explore and are always on the move. Its large pneumatic wheels were designed to be used on forest and field paths and the front wheel can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to ensure your child is secure on all journeys and the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving when you rest. The seat can be adjusted to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate the needs of dad or mum.
The Runner will accompany you on your next adventure whether it's a short walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels that provide a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks, and the stroller folds up easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally, the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than some competitors which means it might not work for smaller parents however, overall it's a sturdy and versatile stroller worthy of consideration for families with active kids.
Red Kite Push Me walking
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which prides itself on making simple and well-designed essentials for parenting. It's the most recent - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller collection. It's also like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so that you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some fantastic design features, like a rose-gold shade on the chassis, hood and stroller trims, which really set it apart. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add a co-ordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar, too.
The stroller seat is used from birth until 22kg. It easily converts into a reversible 2-in-1 position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. 3 wheel stroller offers multiple lie-back positions, soft padded leg rest support and comes with an extendable sun canopy featuring concealed zip sections, viewing through flaps and an retractable sun visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and click to lock it in place.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two kids one of whom is eight weeks old and the other toddler - on rocky roads, grassy wooded walks and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure either 22cm or a bit larger - can handle a variety of terrains. The wheels have flaps that can be shut or opened to let more air in when required. It is a little bigger than other pushchairs, however it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also a lot quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt comfortable using it on busy city streets. One of the advantages is that it comes with accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a tray for snacks. The hood can be used to block the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more legroom. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set-up, and it took the same amount of time to transform it into a seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you're enjoying an early morning run under the stars or taking a moonlit stroll in the crisp air, the UPPAbaby Ridge turns every moment into a fun experience for all. This all-terrain stroller was designed to keep both you and your child engaged.
The large, foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires give you a smooth ride no matter the terrain. The suspension technology is patent-pending, allowing you to glide along trails with little impact on your child's legs as well as rear. The performance disc handbrake allows you to stop quickly even while running on an uphill slope.

From bustling farmers markets to street performers playing a tune, the Ridge can navigate all your favorite city scenes effortlessly. The spacious basket can hold all your essentials and market purchases, while the large canopy provides protection from wind and sun. The canopy on the front can be unzipped to reveal two mesh peekaboos, which allow you to keep an eye on your baby.
The Ridge's reversible seating allows you to choose if your child faces you, or the world in front. Its simple foot brake system makes it intuitive for parents who are just starting out. The reversible handlebar is wonderful feature that lets you adjust it to your height. In contrast to other strollers for jogging, the Ridge's fold is reliable and stays self-standing while folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It features a Multi-Mode wheelbase and LED Visibility Hub light that is an industry first. It has a built-in Ride-on board that saves on future costs and lets tired toddlers accompany the family during outings.
The Core is available as a travel system or a single seat. It works with the most popular car seats, including those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the biggest seat unit of the iCandy line, so you can use it for your baby's first years and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair, and it is made of premium knitted fabric. The child's removable bumper bar as well as the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support folds away are also extremely comfortable for children.
I was amazed by how easy it is to fold and collapse. It only takes one hand with the seat unit attached. It fits easily in your car or hallway, making it ideal to travel with. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and a liner/footmuff.
